Hi. Welcome to Thrive Low Carb.
My intention with this website is to help spread the word about the many health benefits of restricting carbohydrates and sugars in the food and drinks we choose.
The articles are based on my own experiences with the LCHF lifestyle, and on my understanding of the medical research information freely available online.
I’ve limited the science details wherever possible and presented it in a way I hope anyone without a knowledge of science can understand, too.
Not medical advice
Please be aware that the information on this website is not medical advice. It is neither prescriptive nor diagnostic, and is not a substitute for consultation with your medical adviser.
Although I hope you find it useful, it is for information only. Before starting dietary changes, it is prudent to discuss them with your professional health-care provider.
Please read through the Medical Cautions page. This is especially important if you are taking any medications, are diabetic, have high blood pressure, or swollen ankles and feet, or are expecting a baby.
The photos on the website I have taken myself, or have obtained from www.freeimages.com, a resource of images generously made available without charge.

Although I have taken care to provide you with accurate information about the low-carb, healthy-fat LCHF lifestyle, there may be inaccuracies, omissions or exceptions, for which I apologise.
If you do find any, please let me know so I can correct them.
If you have any questions about the LCHF lifestyle, type them into a comment box. I’ll get a copy by email and I’ll do my best to help you.
If you have health challenges now, or would like to prevent illness happening in the years to come, I urge you to look closely at what you are eating and drinking now.
Examine the effects your choices are having inside you, and maybe on your appearance, and invest the time to explore the many health benefits of an LCHF lifestyle.
After all, the best person to take care of your daily health is you.
